Parents Teachers Association (P.T.A) Meeting
The Parents Teachers Association (PTA) is a vital part of the Mariny Schools community, designed to foster strong collaboration between the school and families.
It is a structured body made up of elected parent representatives and school staff, working together to support student development, enhance school facilities and uphold high educational standards.
Purpose of the PTA:
-
To strengthen the relationship between parents and teachers through regular communication.
-
To provide a forum for discussing student welfare, academic performance and discipline.
-
To support school projects through voluntary contributions and fundraising.
-
To ensure transparency and accountability in key school decisions that affect students.
-
To encourage parental involvement in school events, excursions and extracurricular activities.
How It Works:
-
PTA meetings are held termly or as needed.
-
Every parent/guardian is automatically a member of the PTA.
-
The association is governed by an executive committee, elected periodically by members.
-
School management presents reports and plans, while parents share feedback and proposals.
Why It Matters:
An active PTA creates a stronger learning environment by aligning home and school efforts. It ensures that every child receives holistic support academically, morally and socially.
At Mariny Schools, we believe education is a partnership, and the PTA is a powerful way to make that partnership meaningful and impactful.
